Any idea what kind of camera and exposure it takes to get an amazing picture like that?

Thanks a lot Ed.... Actually doesnt take anything crazy. I was using a Nikon D750 but I have dont it with a D7200 (which is very reasonable). I used a Rokinon 24mm lens, again not break the bank as far as lenses go. I had camera on tripod with a 25 second exposure. I did shoot in "RAW" format as opposed to .JPG, so I could bring some of the colors out.

I've been surfing around the images on your Flicker page Rick. WOW!!! Thanks for taking the time to set that up!
Love your Owl photos. I frequently hear them around my neighborhood and sometimes on my daily walks, but never see them. You seem to have it figured out on locating them. Very Impressive.
Those snow flake and water drop photos on page 1 and 2 are really cool too. Very artistic!
