What is distance to reel seat? I think I need this rod. Don't need the plugs offered though, (no offense, Don) Need to figure out when.....

Hi,
24” from butt to center of reel seat.
If you’d like to take a look, it can be seen in Seekonk, MA or could meet at Gillette or in that vicinity. Let me know what works for you.
Only used once.

Hi,
Not wanting to make a mess of this, as I am still interested. BUT, I am having another knee surgery tomorrow, so I may just lose out.
However, is it actual 9' or 8'6'? Spinning? Any chance of more pics, because there are no guides showing in the pic nor in the shadow in the pic. Any idea who/when it was wrapped? I know the 1088 is old school (somewhat) but it is the 9 footer I will be purchasing at some point this coming year.

Appreciate that, but first guy with the cash has been the rule here. I do not want to hold up a sale and I have questions anyway... FWIW, if you get a chance to see it, old as the blank is, it was my go to rod for a do pretty much everything well enough at 9 feet. I enjoy fishing some of the classics, and have never been one to get the latest newest rods. I am sure there are some better. This one checks all my boxes. If you like it. Buy it.

I been putting of getting a 9' rod ,but my kids started going fishing with me now and they been using my 10' rods and my rods are kind off too big for a 8 year old so I got him a cabo pts 50 reel and now try to find him a 9' rod to match the reel
