Dumbass Fisherman!

Anyone know the dumbass surf fisherman who got stuck in the mud up in Salem? Surf fishing in February in Salem? Really? Guy looked like a total googan replete with a nose ring! They get dumber by the day!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I am always just amazed at people like this don't they do any research before they do anything? I hate seeing them wind up tragedies on the news! Guy is very lucky he was not taken by the tide! Glad he was ok for sure!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

There is a spot near me that looks similar except it doesn't end at a channel. There is no reason to fish it as it isn't that deep but this past year some guy had to be rescued from there.

Glad he didn't get hurt.

I have on very rare occasions, seen people digging seaworms there, but NEVER seen, nor heard of fishing there, or it ever having come up. Only boats I have seen near there are commercial work barge/boats up further, that must be severely limited by lack of water. This is the water NNW of the Salem courthouse and train station.

Guppy, I did see you post the link first...
