Fishing of Shore
I'm looking for locations to fish for Stripahs from shore. I have two teenage boys that are hooked on Striper fishing, but, I can't afford a boat. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to Striped-Bass.com
Not trying to sound sarcastic here but...if you have two boys that are hooked on striper fishing, they must be hooked because they're catching them...you may want to start off by asking them.
Other than that, I can't help you with spots for stripers in New Hampshire.
Be safe // and Good Luck getting someone to tell you their spots.

Haven't fished it but I'm told there are a bunch of spots around Portsmouth & Kittery to fish... But time's running out for this year - maybe a month left up there...

You may want to try the rivermouths. Hampton Estuary still has fish and there are a couple accessible jetties and bridges in Newcastle and Portsmouth. If the bait moves in, you could see it pick up along the coast.

Maybe - though shore cod can be down, I don't think it's as easy as fishing for bass & blues from the beach...

Of course, it wasn't. I learned that one from last year on the CI. I learned where to fish for them on CI and a long cast was required. I got skunked twice there and caught a flu in coldest Dec. Could you imagine that my pop dropped me off there from 8 AM to 7 PM in a cold and freezing weather?
