John, get better, my wife and I just tested positive, very mild.

Happy New Year to all in 2023!

Hoping to find a mild winter day and go for cod on one of the RI party boats, that's a trip I've never done,,,

Preparing year end invoices at my desk currently. Then headed to the boat as we are going to pull it outside for full interior bath and power washing of the now exposed areas between deck and hull.... (We had to cut open the deck in order to remove/replace fuel tank, so I have access to the fuel tank's "coffin" as well as some other previously inaccessible areas.)
I had to shut down projects at work as both of my guys have tested positive in past couple of days. Fortunately, I was not exposed, at least by them. But who knows. It is out there, for sure. Seems almost every contractor I have spoken with these last few days has someone on their crews test positive or have the other virus. Stay safe and healthy!

Current Covid sucks but it is over quicker (in my experience) than some previous runs.

Good luck with the interviews John. The COVID thing sucks for sure...I have some long term affects and am listed as "long COVID". Lung damage from Pneumonia, now they think possible COPD.
Hanging with family tonight as a second Christmas get together, working tomorrow. Wife leaves for a business trip in the morning so I am solo for New Years Day..

I barely feel sick, my wife is probably feeling a bit less sick than an average flu would feel.

This is our third time testing positive.

Happy New Year to eyeryone. I will be partying my brains (what's left of them) out all day tomorrow. Staying up for New Years is a thing of the past so we have a bunch of friends who will be with us starting at about 10 AM tomorrow. Big fire in the yard. Grilling steaks, etc and over by 4 or 5 PM.
Stay safe everyone and see you next. year

No boat, back in the suds.

Happy New Year everyone! Get well to all our sick members. Hung a new front door with side lights yesterday and trimming out this w/e. Ness is making a Mediterranean dish and we'll just chill.

Had a trip down memory lane this morning, watching some old movies over coffee. Yesterday I happened to be looking at the program guide to see if there were any movies I wanted to dvr and saw TCM was running the old Tarzan movies with Johnny Weissmuller, which I loved watching as a young boy, taped all three. Friends coming for dinner and drinks later, wont make it to the ball dropping, nor have I had that desire in decades.

Have a happy and safe New Years.

Keep pushing it and get a prescription for aqua therapy in a pool. Best PT I had for mine.

Happy New Year all! Here's to more fishing and friendly posts and banter around here.....
