Word got out and look what happened  thefishingfreak 12-29-2004, 12:01 AM thats why you need a boat Pete_G 12-29-2004, 07:53 AM :laugha: Pete F. 12-29-2004, 09:06 AM That's the wide part of the Salmon river on the first weekend in October.:D "uffah!!" 12-29-2004, 10:52 AM Thats what happens when you don't protect your fishing spot. A boat don't help that much either! I know guy's that use binoculars from shore. BasicPatrick 12-29-2004, 07:52 PM I see Alberto...or his mysterytwin Peter Lajoie 12-29-2004, 07:57 PM :chatter :chatter :hs: :laugha: Mike P 12-29-2004, 08:13 PM Originally posted by BasicPatrick I see Alberto...or his mysterytwin Yeah, but you don't see me. I'd be the guy 100' to the right, out of the picture, drinking a beer and :rotf2: :rotfl: Betcha the average fish these guys were hooking was 26", too :hihi: tattoobob 12-29-2004, 10:31 PM Jeff is the guy standing on the rock and he only fishes at knight, he lied to us Bob spence 12-30-2004, 11:04 AM While I haven't spoken with him in a while, the smart money says BI Jeff would be with Milke P :hihi: -spence Surely Bassey 12-31-2004, 08:42 PM so I don't see even 1 fish on the beach... spence 12-31-2004, 08:44 PM I think they're all snagged on the same lobster pot :smash: -spence Karl F 12-31-2004, 10:32 PM somebody posted a spot.... and... poof, the very next day..... that picture was taken... another one gets burnt. and the fish had moved on :laughs: partsjay 01-01-2005, 08:43 AM That is a nightmare.......I'd quit striper fishing before I'd fish like that. I'd become a panfish finatic....I can see it now...www.sun-fish.com.....no lines to catch them i bet.:laughs: piemma 01-02-2005, 08:11 AM Confirmed souces told me BI jeff has been Striper fishing in IOWA!!! Surely Bassey 01-02-2005, 10:19 AM Looks like a modern day "Gold Rush" Mike P 01-02-2005, 09:19 PM Originally posted by Karl F somebody posted a spot.... and... poof, the very next day..... that picture was taken... another one gets burnt. and the fish had moved on :laughs: Hate to tell ya Karl, but that spot has been posted more times and in more places than letters to Santa Claus :D :laughs: l.i.fish.in.vt 01-02-2005, 09:31 PM if you saw the traffic those guys had to go thru to get there, you would know why standing elbow to elbow doen't phase them. spence 01-02-2005, 09:38 PM While I can't say where B.I. Jeff fishes in Iowa, rest assured, there is no traffic... -spence eye doc 01-06-2005, 11:11 PM I recognize that spot. It is actually looking down the south side of Montauk. That's why I don't fish Montauk anymore. RIROCKHOUND 01-07-2005, 09:00 AM Is that you Dr R.? OAK Homerun04 01-07-2005, 09:42 AM No thanks.....what ever happened to solitude......:D Mr. Sandman 01-07-2005, 10:17 AM All easy access gets you is big crowds and guys with bad attitudes. Yeah there are a lot of fish...but is it really worth fishing like that? Honestly? Would you leave you aquaskinz bag loaded with custom plugs on a beach with a crowd like that at night? (or even during the day). It sucks when you go down to relax for a few hours to throw some plugs and you get ripped off or your vehicle gets busted into or just having to worry about getting ripped off.... IMO Montauk is better fished from a boat anyway, the surf scene is overrun with guys....1/2 of which are guys from NJ and Nassau county that make the drive to stand 2' next to you....Many of whom are decent guys but it aint fun, even when big fish move in tight to the beach. ...and you throught the breachway was bad on a Friday night? piemma 01-09-2005, 11:48 AM A BI jeff sighting at 9:00 AM this morning somewhere West of Quonny..... vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
