I’m glad I live near the coast and got all rain, I wouldn’t be happy if I lived in Lowell, they got the jackpot.

Yeah, we're in the February doldrums. After nine months of this
(and several more to come) spring can't come soon enough!

First year in 5 that we are here for Winter. Pandemic, and Jeanne wouldn't travel South because of it. This really sucks.
I was moving snow most of the day yesterday. Just don't want to do this anymore. I will be in SC next Winter.

Actually Wayne, the Bass are phototropic. Their instinct to migrate is triggered by the angle of the Sun. That's why some fish start migrating South in August.

Tough one to call. Phil saw his shadow, Staten Island Chuck did not I thought New Englanders relied on the blooming of the snowdrop as an indicator of Spring's coming.

How true that is..
Many many times over the years I’ll leave the Q on beautiful April day, sunshine, flowers out, T- shirt weather and head to the elbow to trout fish. It’ll be drizzly, cold, stark, like late February. No sign of spring at all.
All to enjoy that deep bone chill from standing in the 38° water.
Fun
