Yeah, we're in the February doldrums. After nine months of this
(and several more to come) spring can't come soon enough!

Tough one to call. Phil saw his shadow, Staten Island Chuck did not I thought New Englanders relied on the blooming of the snowdrop as an indicator of Spring's coming.

How true that is..
Many many times over the years I’ll leave the Q on beautiful April day, sunshine, flowers out, T- shirt weather and head to the elbow to trout fish. It’ll be drizzly, cold, stark, like late February. No sign of spring at all.
All to enjoy that deep bone chill from standing in the 38° water.
