Getting object out of the gas tank

I add StarTron to the gas when fueling up the boat. I had the gas cap open and unscrewed the cap to the StarTron and the little paper/plastic/tinfoil cover (I don't know what it's made of - it's supposed to prevent evaporation I think) inside the cap fell out and went right into the gas tank.

I'm thinking that this could cause fuel problems or a clog.

Any advice? How can i get this thing out? Is it nothing to be concerned about?

I have a 17' SeaHunt CC, 30 gallon tank with a 125 Merc.

Thanks,
Rich
