Rich,
Totally unrelated, but I used to have a 17' Sea Hunt CC with a 70 HP and it was fast enough for me. With a 125HP on the back that thing must fly!!!

This boat FLIES, 55 MPH. Takes off on a dime. Honestly, it's too much for how I use the boat. I'm rarely in conditions flat enough to really open it up. And 55 in such a small boat with low gunnels is scary. So far, I have only used it for fishing, but I'll be taking it up to NH this sumer, should be able to pop a water skier out of the water with no problems.

It's rated for up to 135HP - now that would be frightening.

Thanks for all the responses, I took it out yesterday (the boat) with no problems. Hopefully, it's not an issue.

Take the fuel out the tank, double side foam tape on a somewhat straightened coathanger.

I have a 17 Sea Hunt (for sale) with a Yami 90 4 stroke and I do 35 knots at 4500 rpms. I CANNOT imagine my boat with a 125. Your boat must scream!!!!

No boat, back in the suds.

Use a match to see if the tank is empty first
