Hi
I'm from Kalbarri in West Australia I am a retired farmer (PD)
Kalbarri is 150 + kilometres south of steep point.
The fish with the jetski's are narrow barred mackeral and the fish with the Atv are small mulloway.
The boat is home built for the atv to cross the river to fish up to16 miles north away from the crowds.

Hi WaFarmer!!!
Nice Pics!!!
I have a few questions for you!!!
How many types of fish can you catch when you go out fishing?
Also, Do you fish for a certain type of fish when you go fishing, or do you just fish for whatever you can catch?
Oh, and 1 more- Are any of those fish good to eat?
Thanks for the pics and information!!!

Hi a bit late here11.30 but here goes
We catch tailor to 3ft+ 1' to 2'6'' more normal (I think you call it bluefish) which I use mainly for bait, mulloway to 40+lbs White tip and blacktip reef sharks to about 5'6'' shovelnose sharks to about 7ft different types of trevally( pink snapper mainly in winter off beaches the cliffs all year).
The tailor are a bit seasonal but some big ones stay around to surprise you all year.
I target mulloway as I find them good to eat (some don't)and they can be tricky to catch when they get old and smart.

Do you guys target baramundi on the west side? I spent a little time on the east fishing off frasier island and then out of cairns for some spanish macks.

Hi
On biofuell yep the Aussie government stuck a 50 cents a litre tax on biodiesel and sort of slowed the interest in it.
On a lessdepressing topic some pics of fishing lately.
A 44lb mulloway.
Some sunsets and scenes

1 @ 32 Pledge. Our beloved Striped Bass are in trouble AGAIN.
I fished through the lean years and don't want to live through another collapse of the stock.
2 fish @ 28" is ridiculous.
