Tog
I figures I'd try deep today, 30 + ft , first stop, first three drops, three keepers, figures I hit the mother load :-)
Next drop hooks up , gets it half way up can't budge it,,, judging by the last 3 this one is Godzilla. The SOB takes off under the boat and num nuts me puts the heat on the line,,,, BING,,, all I gets back is braid, me thinks it severed at the leader,,,
First chance I get I'm going back looking for that guy... :-)
After that, that's right, all downhill,,

I think the shallow bite will last a while with the warm weather coming in this coming week, which is good for me as I'm not paddling to some of my favorite reefs.

Yeah, it was a blast, we were fishing 10 - 20' a lot of shorts, but some nice keepers and bsb in the mix too. But albies were busting up all around us, and we finally couldn't take it anymore so we chased them for a few hours.
That was a blast too.
Gotta love October.
