wow so many people on this site listen to solid tunes! I too listen to all kinds of stuff and many times it seems to be weather dependent. Like as soon as it gets nice I have the urge to open windows and crank the Allman Brothers. Right now I have been on a big reggae kick and have been playing a lot of Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and Toots. Always have at least one dead disk, and one phish disk (or 3) in the player.
For a little different bluegrass try Old Crow Medicine Show. I also really like older REM.
For those of you who like live stuff try nugs.net - even some great shows in the "free stash" section.
That all said I NEVER listen to music while actually fishing, just to and from.
