p.s. just because its loud and aggressive doesn't mean it cant be deep and meaningful. which i think gets lost on the next gen. could be on mine too cause i think the current music is awful. but then again i think its because no one has anything worth while to say. probably the most worthwhile thing said in the 2000's has come from greenday and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, considering through out the 90's they were such a "messing around" type band. but then again this is a post for that forum..

another band i think some will enjoy and relatively unknown would be the John Butler Trio.good stuff some what of a jam band with some great musicians.

Only saw them once but Quicksilver Messenger Service was a great live band. Not many familiar songs to people but their most recognized one was this.
