I have totally enjoyed this thread.So many artists I never heard of.Very cool stuff.To add my 2 cents,anything by Porcupine Tree.
While I am at it,I would like to ask all who contributed to this great thread if they think it would be a good idea to create a music forum on this site.So much to write about.Anyone agree?

oh the assault on the ears i could recommend
p.s. just because its loud and aggressive doesn't mean it cant be deep and meaningful. which i think gets lost on the next gen. could be on mine too cause i think the current music is awful. but then again i think its because no one has anything worth while to say. probably the most worthwhile thing said in the 2000's has come from greenday and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, considering through out the 90's they were such a "messing around" type band. but then again this is a post for that forum..

another band i think some will enjoy and relatively unknown would be the John Butler Trio.good stuff some what of a jam band with some great musicians.
