58" with a nice belly is a huge fish. Not sure of the accuracy of the chart i'm using but the minimum weight of a 55" inch fish is 56lbs and the minimum weight went up 4 lbs from 54". If that scale is correct the least that fish could weigh would be 68lbs. If it had "a nice belly" potentially it would be a world record fish as the average weight for a 55" fish is 70lb using the same scale.

I'm not going to criticize anyone for releasing or keeping a fish but that fish would be hanging from a scale if it was me. I would have to know the lbs. It would bug me if I didn't. Claiming to catch a 58" fish is going to generate some discussion.
