Just don't seem to see these plugs any more, everything is plastics. I do not know anyone who fishes these large swimmers behind their boat anymore, I am sure people do but I don't know anyone. They caught many large fish in years gone by don't know why they wouldn't work nowadays. If anyone knows of any other larger trolling plugs to try I am interested. Paul |
For other large trolling plugs have you considered making some like blue streaks? I've attached a pic of some that I have. I actually don't know how well they swim, I have never dared to tie one on, but I have heard from some old timers that they were really great plugs to fish with.
