Personally, I dont mind sluggos with a 10'. A 9' is deffinately better, but there are some place I just dont want a 9'. I generally throw 1-3oz plugs, sluggos, and medium eels. It sounds to me like the 1201L would be the best choice??? Sorry for all the questions, this will be my first custom, so I want to gain as much info as possible.

The 1201l is perfect for that weight range.

do you fish rocks or sand? i'd say sand = L, rocks = M
