I've been doing pretty well with 2 ounce pencils during the day. Fish to about 32 inches fairly consistently.

I went out after work from12:00 till 2:00 pm loaded with bass feeding on decent size bunker. I tried evreything in my bag managed to get 6 fish all between 24 and 27 inches on a 5 inch storm. I did see a couple of barely keepers caught.No bluefish

I did on Cutty....late morning...17.5 pounds. Smashed a silverback Herring 1 3/4 ounce pencil! Thats it in the avatar!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I don't waste my time, never caught anything but tiny fish. When I fish I want a chance at a giant at all times, I don't feel that is the case fishing during the day.
