I trust that the public will see the foolhardiness of making Fish Oil capsules out of Menhaden and STOP buying the crap.
I stopped buying Omega-3 supplements made from menhaden years ago. Not due to PCB’s (didn’t know) but due to the over-harvesting. There are many O-3 supplements that are made from salmon and other fishes, so check you label.

By the way, PCB is a heavy metal and I believe in persists in the food chain. Stripers, bluefish, and tuna all forage on pogies, so those PCBs would transfer. However, I’ve not heard of any warning about eating stripers/blues/tuna due to PCBs.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
