I do get a laugh about statements like this :

What a crock....people do it for the MONEY, and in the case of Stripers some do it for the entertainment.

Half the fish is probably ground up for animal feed, and the other half goes to expensive restaurants and fish markets that cater to those that can afford 15 to 20$ a pound fish.
After it goes through a few hands and everyone makes a buck.

He'd do the same thing if the fish were frozen and sent to China.

It's business, no need to rationalize it.

A legal activity where a guy can make a buck.

The whole argument that it's some kind of public service is laughable.
