I once lagered a beer 12 years. It was in glass bottles and in a refrigerator all that time. Beer was most excellent. Closest taste comparison would be Chimay.

Anyway ,your mini keg in a garage with probably hundreds of temp fluctuations and who knows how much reaction with its metal container , I wouldn't go near it!
