Just sayin'.
I was thinking the same thing George, I can't imagine having learned to surf fish there.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

You should have seen me last night trying to (re)learn how to use a conventional there. Just when I think I'm starting to figure things out, I do something that makes me realize how much I still don't know.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

I hear ya! I dusted off my convench recently. Used to have an "educated" thumb years ago. I was a bit rusty myself.

fish raptor if you want to demo some rods out, shoot me a pm, i have most the line and you are welcome to try em out and see what fits your needs best

for the 10000 size stella it would match up nicely to the 1327 11 ft

M and Ds on the cape carrys em, and is a sponsor of the site.

shoot me a pm if you are interested

There are a lot of great rods available right now and lots of options and all price ranges, its best to narrow it down to a length and target plug/bait weight range then compare all models that fit the bill. test cast and handle as many as you can and pick the one that best suits your needs.
