They make them in drop point, tanto, and stiletto....

I have my knife mounted on the very back of my surfbelt...mostly because it is not a tool I use often. I think I may have used it once or twice this year. Problem I have is sheathing it...it can be awkward at that belt location, especially with a surftop while balancing on a rock. Sometimes the surftop material can overlap the belt. Those knives are crazy sharp and it would take near to no effort to drive it through a surftop, waders, or neoprene. A blunt tip is definitely the way to go with that mount location. If I had a front mount, or was mostly on dry land, I would probably lean to the versatility of a sharp tip.

Skippy will probably be interested in the drop point. I've heard he has a whole closet full of stilettos…

I was going to mention your nickname at the Ramrod in Boston was Tanto…but I didn't think I needed to go there so fast.

Skippy told me.
