Absolutely the fight, and I'm speaking of slinging eels. The take snaps you out of la la land, but you never know what will happen after the hookset. Is it a rat, is it a dogfish, is it a supercow? Only the fight will tell. I caught my surf PB, a 43-pounder only 20 feet from the rock I was balancing on, and it barely tapped the eel. I wasn't impressed. The fish then proceeded to give me a whooping for the next few minutes. My heart was about to explode when the damned thing circled my rock five times, but when I got my hand in its mouth that was it. The fight!

Definitely the take since I get one of Paul's plugs.
The fight part is no big deal since I outweigh him and am meaner.
