Yup 100%. Seeing the ripple/swirl following my plug. Making sure im consistant with the action not to spook her. Hoping she takes it. Talking to myself, then SSSLLLAAMMM!!! Explosion. Nothing better. |

I'll go with the take but ultimately my favorite part is being right about the spot and tide I want to fish.

I want it all ... I love the take ... have some phenomenal memories of "the take"of a wide variety of species ... whether it's a big bass on the plug, a giant tarpon inhaling a fly in crystal clear water, or anything else going bonkers ... the take is typically what is remembered most and most exciting ... although I have also had some phenomenal fights that leave amazing memories as well ... it's all good.

The take. When you realize you have a good sized fish on, telling yourself to calm down and not screw this up, it changes to the fight pretty quickly. Then the whole thing is a rush.
