Agreed that cod/haddock are better to eat any day of the week. Striper always tastes better when you catch it.

how much is rock salmon a pound , read an article in a local news paper about a fish coop selling rock salmon , its dogfish , they want to generate more interest in the fish so they are calling it some thing else

"rock salmon" is what its called in some European countries. I don't know what it retails for, but ex-vessel is usually somewhere between 10 and 20 cents a pound.
