the reason i said that striper's should be valued like caviar
was because of how the sturgeon was hunted to near extinction
because of it's roe and superior eggs..... and so i saw a parallel
as far as how well stripers taste, i think grain fed farmed swipers in circular enclosures
just off the shoreline down south would taste just as good as wild
or it would be hard to tell the difference. it certainly would take the pressure off and stock the great lakes while your at it.
