sharking is tons of fun. we played with blue dogs yesterday - makos Thursday. personally I wouldnt pull up the chum and redrift, just setup further from the spot you want to drift and make 1 long drift. and don't forget the cable in addition to your wire - it makes a difference when the fish start getting bigger

didn't want to move but after looking closer at the chart plotter i set up on the wrong edge of the claw . once we were off it no action , going to go all cable and crimps easier to work with and a bit thinner hook if i can find the . seemed when trying to set the hook i was pulling the shark rather than a solid BAM .. not sure if thats understandable

when you set the hook Point the rod at the fish and reel hard until you absolutely can't reel anymore, when every inch of stretch is out of the line, Then set the hook. Bamm!!
