Man it was brutal framing today. Most annoying part was all the materials got delivered yesterday. In the pouring rain. And froze solid. Was a whore getting PT boards apart and then havin to scrape ice off of every board with the speed square. Annoyingly time consuming. Glad i get paid hourly

been there done that. Now I use a red dragon torch to de-ice framing materials.

Yep. We have all done that.... Cutting frozen stock sucks too. Then there is always waiting for the framing stock to dry before doing any finish. If you try to finish over lumber with a high moisture content, you get drywall popping/cracking, stairs squeaking, etc, as the lumber dries and shrinks.....

I need a little heat to keep warm in this weather. I've worked outside or in unheated space going on forty years in the trade.
We don't always have a job ready for finish work, today I was installing pocket door frames. This little propane heater goes were I go.
