Both R.I. and MA. are pretty basic. No mention of height limitations as listed with other states??? Guessing it's ok.
I used a similar set up on my 13' dory...(pole-holder lights and plate) and never had a problem...did a lot of reading on dielectric vs. waterproof grease. Seems one is conductive and the other not.
I'm definitely going to follow experienced advice, just thought I'd toss that out there for further discussion.
Any thoughts?
