Be very carefull going out the north end,lots of rocks in the salt pond where the two ponds meet.

denis is right, there are a bunch of rock piles on the north end, but that is how I used to go, because my boat was on the north end.

It can get VERY shallow around the ram's head, so if you are south of there, which i think you are, just go south and under the bridge.
