tried again last night.
No fish (caught)
Lots of fish breaking.
Kills when you know there are plenty of fish there but they are keyed up on the peanut bunker, which explains why I struck out.
There was so much bait that my lure just got lost in the mix.
If the amount of bait is any indication of what may be to come, it could be a good fall!!!

I do well in the dark when they're keyed in on peanuts with yellow darters, big dannies, and of course, eels. |

Use to happen all the time in the 90s when the peanuts were bountiful. Put a broad profile teaser on and you will draw a hit on every cast. |
