I think I'm Out
Just found out yesterday that I need another back operation. The fusion has only partially worked and my L5-S1 combo is unstable. They're putting in bolts and rods on each side of the spine to tie them together in case the fusion doesn't progress any further.
I don't know the date yet, but I'm guessing it should be the Tuesday before the TFCTFN (If I know my surgeon).
Taking Jack ice fishing tomorrow. Saw a guy chasing flags for 15 minutes yesterday across the street. I want to give it a shot before I'm back in bed again.
Sorry everybody. Sometimes I feel like this party is (at least partly) my responsibility, so I don't take missing it lightly.
Big frown face.
Rick

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.
1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!
It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I still haven't gotten a date for the surgery yet...not cancelling the room juuuuuuuust yet. They're may still be a little hope for me, but I'm sure my back will be a mess by then. It's a mess right now.

I had an ALIF in the middle of July. It's only partly fused and one of my pedicle screws backed out like 1.5 cm. Luckily, it's the one under the part of the bone that's fused, so it won't go anywhere.
Next surgery is bolts and rods to stabilize the joint on the posterior side.
Hopefully, this makes it so the fusion sets easier, and if it doesn't, the joint maintains it's height due to the posterior hardware.
