You got that right!
Along with everything else today I got a few hour in looking for hold overs, the only thing missing other than fish was the sun, still one sweet feeling wetting a line and one sweet day for January
This weather keeps up I'll never finish my punch list

I miss the glory days, when a 50 fish winter outing was a slow day and a few keepers in the mix were almost as certain. No such thing as winterizing the boat back then, after a Sat/Sun outing, just back it into the coverit and plug in the charger to keep the batteries warm and charged. Early on it was a 1-1/2 hour drive to the Thames River, then a friend showed me a really good mass spot that cut that drive in half and saved me a lot of work busting ice to launch the boat. The Thames was hot in the day, but at 9 miles inland, it tended to freeze over easily.
