Chris, it wasn't foggy when I went at 3:00 AM. I was North of Conimicut Light and saw the bank moving up the bay so I headed for the barn. I made it fine. It's the other nitwits I have to worry about.
You are right though, I need to get radar. next year. Need to do some stuff in SC first.
