We're back to normal. Logistics are difficult when you are 1000 miles away but everything is fixed and back to normal. had a zone valve fail and resulted in no heat in one section of the house.

No boat, back in the suds.

Nest thermostat will send you a notification if your heat is too high or low as long as you set it up
Works good in multizone big houses without a dedicated alarm system or if you have no alarm system

Pete, we tried to install Nest but it will not work with my NetGear router,

I don't trust these systems after seeing a sub contractor get into a client's Nest system to communicate with his employee working in another part of the house. Told me it was like picking up a neighbors baby monitor. Easily hacked..... He worked on them, but would not have one in his house. Just one man's opinion.
