Again, you're OK then, with police departments deciding which laws they will help enforce, and which they will help people violate? Some day they may decide to ignore laws you happen to like.

True, which is why I said "help enforce". SO stop being obtuse, you're OK with individual departments telling federal law enforcement that there are some duly constituted federal law which they'll help enforce, and some duly constituted federal law they won't help enforce? And they'll use personal political beliefs to determine which laws they'll help enforce, and which they won't?

spence would throw the cop in jail and give the guy in the country illegally driving around with no drivers license and no insurance while ignoring a warrant for avoiding his deportation hearing his very own drivers license, free healthcare and probably a host of other goodies in the hopes he'd vote democrat

so if some scumbag kidnaps a kid in NH and drives to MA and the local PD knows where he is, they just throw up their hands and says Screw It, its a federal matter.

not exactly.

local law enforcement should
cooperate with the feds to enforce laws that liberals happen to agree with. it’s ok to refuse to help, when the law in question isn’t popular with delicate snowflakes.
