Katie Hill had flipped the seat for the first time in 26 years... It had been red before that. The Garcia guy was a good candidate. The democrat actually led after the first election but no one was over 50% so they had a runoff and Garcia won.

I wouldn't exactly call this an indicator of things to come....

What happens in a single congressional district, rarely says anything about the country. But both sides pretend it does when it suits them.
