Damn. Must be nuts to be 40-60 miles offshore then bump into 100 boats like that. Sounds like a great trip. Someday hope to have a boat big enough to get further out

Glad you got out there, but picking your line through those seas in the dark is no fun... how was visibility and comfort at the helm? How many crew and how did they fare for the poke home? What was less than fun speed? Other boats run for the barn with you? You knew I would have lots of questions...

The only visibility was me seeing the instrument panel. I put a trail on and eased the throttle forward enough to occasionally get on plane, which is now 23 mph. Often times the sea pushed us back to 14. Long ride for me and Tattoo. My other friend ate an edible and slept the entire ride. I am grateful that the new ride has curtains but the spray washed over the t top for more than 5 hours in darkness. Not comfortable.... too old for that crap
