Never a fan of the power knob either. The stock handle seems to work just fine. I sporadically see pictures of VS reels with bent or broken handles. It seems like every one of those breaks or bends involve a reel with a power handle.
It all started last year during a terrible thunderstorm, when I locked myself out of the house. Shelving myself with a large piece of sheet metal, I ran for cover under the tallest tree I could find!
