My marathon days are over and done with. I ran Ocean State twice and broke 3 hours. The last year it was about 35 degrees with the wind whipping on Ocean Drive. That was twenty years and about 60 pounds ago, and one of the worst days of my life--the only day that I can think of that was worse from a pain standpoint was the day my gall bladder erupted
