Spiderwire and all the other brands of this new line are great. I have used the same spool for 6 years commercial fluke fishing. It is bleached out to a white color. I don't like it at night because if you get fouled with someone else using the same line, just save time and reach for a knife. I also use it on a spinning reel with live eels. This stuff is so thin, the backing will be sufficient for use should the worst happen. Good Luck and think Spring
