'cept the tail

it is a 2/3 model which will be hung on the wall. Just enough roll around the other side to accomodate the fins where they pair.

I am impressed with the belly but more importantly with the realism of the gut. The girl looks like she is eating very well.

He has done thigs in his life that would make you shake your head in disbelief. Mantles done in a fresco of marine life, whales, crustaceans. I have to dig up the photo of the Lobster he did a couple of years ago on commision. About 5' long out of Honduran Mahogany. The amount of individual pieces and the intricities of the carving where just awesome.

By the weekend we should see a finished product
