I grew up catching and eating ALOT of scup. My Mom makes the smaller ones fried 'I just had some a matter a fact' larger ones boiled or baked. Their very easy to eat. After gutting and scaling... just cut in portions(don't fillet) when cooked, big white chunks of meat are easily taken off the bones with hands or fork. yuuuum-mie
