I've caught 42 inch fish before....none ever reached 40#s, nevermind 50. The last 42 inch fish I caught ran 28#s .....so who knows!! Then again, I use bait made by ATKINS, so my fish are always dieting.


Vman, - - I'm sure you've picked up a 45# plate and placed it on a weight-lifting bar....did it feel the same? After all, you removed the fish from the water right?....to measure it's Girth? Best thing, live and learn....if weight concerns you, buy a scale TODAY...obviously size matters because you carry a tape measure....any internet hero will tell, size doesn't matter...it's all about how much she weighs. Right Heroes? -
