I just bought a pair of Orvis (they came a couple days ago) the Silver Label stocking foot with seperate boot......they look sweet and comfy! I have had Hodgeman stocking foot waders and have been overall pleased with them, but I thought I would try another brand to see if I get longer life out of them. The Hodgemans generally last me about 3/4 of a season.

Bigfish, do you think that there is a big difference between the 2?? Its either hodgeman or orvis for me, although the LLBean ones have a full lifetime warranty... now that is tempting, but i've never seen anyone using them

I will let you know Eben, I am going to use them for the first time Thursday. They seem pretty similar in quality and construction.

eban, I have the llbean breathable stocking foot. they "wicked" nice. They are really comfortable and have put in a lot of 6-8 hour days in them. I use the aquastealth boots. Equally as comfortable but I have run into a problem with them. I am going to be returning the boots, the stitching has come undone on the inseam of where the rubber sole meets the fabric on both boots.
BUT they do have a life time warrenty!!

funny my boots are coming unstiched too I think you have to get the boots 2 sizes too big so your not stretching out the seams..
hmmm maybe i will go with the beans.....
Spence your not chopped liver, your a liberal.
* I really really wish teh bean waders had a studded aqua stealth sole... then I would be in heaven

I don't know if anyone makes a studded boot any more. I'd get the boots one size larger, not two. Eben you just need to get used to wearing korkers
