Amazing! I guess the VS is built WELL but still uses OLD technology.

Ok, now we need to make a hybrid reel. Penn price, VS waterproofness(a word?), with a Daiwa Long-Cast Spool. Now we are talking!

Funny thing is, the more I learn about reels, the more difficult it is to decide which one I want. There are so many pros and cons. Whewww!

Does the Saltiga seize at all if a wave throws sand on it or does it have the same features as the VS?
