Boat Fish... etc etc etc

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

They're talking about where he lives, not where he was when he caught the fish.

"He now lives in Greenbackville , just south of the Eastern Shore’s Maryland line."

What a pig. It's got to have 15 lbs. of bait in her. Looks like some of those 60 lb lake caught stripers down south. Full to the brim. That's what you get when the fish have a good source of large bait to eat. Something we don't get to see to often around here.
