Hi Bob, I have 2 of these and have had the same problem. I run 20# pressure but that isn't the problem. Try taking out the needle and cleaning it with a pencil eraser. Also take the tip out and take apart the front part that holds the "cone" a little bit of paint accumulates in there that needs to be cleaned once in a while. Also clean the front where the needle comes out of the gun. Most of the time the cleaning solves the problem. I keep an extra needle on hand because it can get a little ding on the tip which causes problems too.
